Your wedding plan stays private by default
LaganGatho is a private wedding-planning workspace for Nepali families. This policy explains what information the service processes, how it is used and shared, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect and how
- Account information. If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, LaganGatho receives the account identifier and any email address or name the provider makes available for authentication. Anonymous planning sessions use a service-generated account identifier.
- Wedding and planning information you enter, including events, guests, costs, vendors, decisions, responsibilities, tasks, notes, and the side of the wedding you are planning.
- Photos or screenshots you explicitly choose to add to a private note.
- Membership, invite, and sharing choices needed to enforce who can see an item.
- Public guest-page responses that a guest chooses to submit, such as name, phone number, and event responses. We also create limited one-way rate-limit hashes to protect public RSVP endpoints from abuse rather than storing the raw request IP for that purpose.
- Support messages you choose to send by email.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, create and synchronise wedding plans, enforce side-based privacy and explicit sharing, provide public guest pages when a planner chooses to publish one, prevent abuse, complete account-deletion requests, respond to support, and keep the service reliable and secure.
LaganGatho does not sell personal information and does not use advertising networks, cross-app tracking, or a third-party product analytics service in the current app.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, and private file-storage services. Apple and Google process sign-in information when you choose their sign-in option. Your email provider processes support messages when you choose to contact us. Service providers that process personal information for LaganGatho are required to protect it consistently with this policy and their applicable data-protection obligations. We do not send your private wedding-planning data to advertising networks.
Privacy and sharing
Planning data is protected by database access policies and is private to the relevant wedding side by default. Another side receives an item only after an explicit supported sharing action. Public guest pages expose only the reduced information a planner chooses to publish; a wedding code by itself does not grant private membership.
Retention and deletion
Account and planning information is kept while it is needed to provide your active account and wedding plan. When a permanent account requests deletion in the app, LaganGatho immediately revokes its active planning access and starts the account-deletion process. Completion removes the authentication identity, personal profile, memberships, private notes and captures, user-owned uploaded media, and active invite or sharing secrets owned by that account.
Shared wedding-planning records may remain when deleting them would remove information that another active member still depends on; the deleted user's attribution is removed where the data model supports it. A minimal deletion-status record and limited security or audit records may remain when needed to document completion or protect the service. LaganGatho does not retain private notes, uploaded media, email addresses, or display names merely for product analytics after account deletion.
Removing a LaganGatho account is separate from provider-level authorization. If you used Sign in with Apple or Google, you can also manage LaganGatho's access from your Apple or Google account settings. That separate provider setting does not delay LaganGatho's own account-deletion process.
Your choices
You choose whether to provide optional profile details, add photos, use Google or Apple sign-in, publish a guest page, or share supported planning items. You can revoke supported shares, remove photo access in your device settings, sign out, and request account deletion from the You tab's account section. If you cannot access the app, use the account-deletion page or email hello.lagangatho@gmail.com. You can also contact us to ask a privacy question or withdraw a choice where the app does not provide a direct control.
